Our History
The Rockland Skating Club has been in operation for 44 years. Over the years, our club has evolved to offer the best skating programs: Pre-CanSkate, Canskate, CanPowerSkate (now CanSkate – Hockey), Adult Skate, and STARSkate. Our club has grown to over 175 registered skaters per year. Some of the Club’s skaters have had the opportunity to compete against other clubs and have brought back many medals and trophies. Others have used the skills they have learned to excel in hockey or ringette. And, of course we must not forget the ice shows, special events and banquets the Club has organized. The commitment of our professional coaching staff, the Board of Directors, and many parents who have volunteered their time for so many years, have all contributed to the growth of the club and positive experiences of our members.
